I disagree, atheo, and would suggest that it would strengthen all Russian owned dollar denominated assets for what is the point of having a position in practically worthless US IOU’s/Treasuries. Exchanging them though would really need a Specialist Brokerage who would accept them for an exchange currency of their choice, for it is Toxic Sub-Prime Waste one would be dealing with, or/and what is wrong with the idea of Russia liquidating their holdings into their own roubles and removing dollars completely from the Great Game? It is only a perception that they are vital and everything will collapse without them which keeps them abusing the Game to their own ends.

As the article says it is only pretty paper they have printed for the purpose of Cheating the System and giving them a Free Ride, which we all know, doesn’t exist in Capitalism.

I think it is a very nasty Civil War with Wall Street and the Federal Reserve Fractional Reserve System taking a hammering that they need to be planning for ….. not that you can do anything to stop such a conflict though, as it would be the best thing to happen to the United States since they went Stir Crazy and Spin Happy.
